My Top Outfit Tips For Looking Skinny :)

Ok so all of the holidays have officially ended and summer is soon approaching! Like many of you, during the holidays these last few months I have had a blast eating whatever I wanted! Now that bikini season is almost here, it is time to get our buns back to eating healthy! (I will write a post soon about my diet routine). For the meantime, I will share with you my go-to outfit look for when I want to look like I've been sticking to my healthy diet (when I secretly haven't) lol This outfit is great for when you ladies are feeling a little bloated, or are about to eat a feast. This outfit is very forgiving and casual yet stylish :) Here are my Top Outfit Tips for looking Skinny:

1. Wear a long, oversized baggy shirt (that still looks cute) or a dress that isn't too tight and very forgiving:
I bought the black shirt in the above photo from Brandy Melville. This outfit is my uniform, I literally wear it everywhere I go.

2. Wear Leggings!!! In either black, grey, dark brown, or navy blue. Leggings instantly slim your legs and they are stretchy around the waist line, opposed to jeans which can be pretty restricting. Ladies don't worry about the thigh and butt area in these leggings, that will all be covered by your cute oversized shirt or dress :)

3. Wear Tall Black Boots with a small heel or wedge :) This will instantly give you height and the illusion of a long skinny leg. Especially if you have these black boots paired with black leggings! :)
I bought the boots that I am wearing from a shoe store called LoveD.

4. Carry a large bag :) First of all I think an oversized bag looks super cute, and it also can make you look extra skinny :) Next time you step out and you are not feeling your slimmest, switch out your small bag for a big bag and you will feel great and instantly smaller! :)

I Hope You All Found These Tips Helpful and Will be able to Find a Cute Outfit to Wear While we Are getting Bikini Ready!!!!
PS. Hair and Makeup Details:
Hair: Curled my hair with Nume 32 mm Curling Iron
Makeup: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Foundation, Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, Urban Decay Perversion Liquid Liner, MAC Carbon Black Shadow, Rimmel 018 Lip Pencil, Mac Snob Lipstick and NYX Strawberry Milk Over it :)

A Purple Smokey Eye For Spring :)

I created this look to show you that you can really do a smokey eye in any color, not just the basic black :) This is a fun, bright color for spring or for summer. But it is also subdued and sexy for night time; it is not too bright. All you have to do it refer back to my previous post about doing the classic smokey cat eye. That shows you my step-by-step tutorial. Now instead of using a black and grey shadow, you will be using a purple and brown shadow.
Here are the products that I used:
Step 1. Wash your whole lid in a light lavender purple shadow
Step 2. Then take a darker purple shadow and intensify the whole lid, avoiding the inner corner of the eye area (keep that light lavender)
Step 3. Line your top and bottom lid with black liquid liner (I used the Stila Black Felt tip liner)
Step 4. Make sure you create a wing when you line your upper lid :)
Step 5. Take your Real Techniques shadow smudge brush and smudge the darker purple shadow along your bottom lash line. Keep that line straight :)
Step 6. Take a rich brown eye shadow and put a little into your crease to define your eye shape
Step 7. Apply Lashes (Optional) I used Eyelure Katy Perry Feline Fierce lashes
Step 8. Last but not least, apply mascara! I used Loreal Voluminous Black :)

Cute Coachella Outfit Ideas :)

Coachella is an annual music and arts festival that takes place in Coachella Valley. Here are two cute outfit ideas/Inspirations for Coachella or any Music festival that you may be going to in the future :) The signature look for an event like this is usually very "hipster", "boho chic" and a little "ethereal". Here are two outfits that I think would be perfect for this event, and hopefully you can draw some inspiration from the following looks and create your own :)
Outfit #1: "The Native Look"
Jewelry is a huge part of this look. That is how you can create the "native feel". So you would want to wear a lot of turquoise, and chunky necklaces that look ancient and cool. Some of these items are homemade, and I bought most of this Jewelry from different swap meets. If you are on a budget and real turquoise is a little too pricey for you, stores like Claires or Icing at your local mall, have awesome fake turquoise pieces!
I got this top from a store called Love Story, but it is actually very easy to make. All you need is a black t-shirt and you can fold it in half. Then cut it into the shape of tube top that you will later tie in the back to custom fit you. Once you have cut it into a tube top, fold over one side, so one is longer than the other. Then cut a bunch of shingles or fringe on the side that is longer. Now all you have to do is fit it to your bust and tie it! Voila you just created the top seen above :)
I paired this outfit with a denim mini skirt that I also got from the store Love Story, but this outfit can also just be paired with jean shorts, jeans or a black skirt :)
Outfit #2: "The Ethereal Look"
I got these cute jean overalls and this white crop top from this store called Papaya and I got this necklace from a swap meet. This is a super easy look to find in many stores and online :)
What really brings this whole look together are the flower wreaths :) I bought these wreaths at Icing, but you can get these anywhere! You can get them from any arts and crafts store, an accessory store or they are pretty easy to make yourself :)

There you have it! I hope maybe you can draw some inspirations from these outfit ensembles! ;)

A Bollywood Inspired Makeup Look/Tutorial :)

Bollywood is a term used for the Indian movie industry that is based in Mumbai. It is like our "Hollywood" in India. I recreated a look that is seen in many Bollywood films and worn my many Bollywood actresses. I think the "Bollywood makeup look" exudes exotic beauty. The eyes are almost always made the focal point in this look. I know this is a very dramatic look, but it is perfect for a special night out, a photo shoot or for a costume party :) I am going to tell you step by step how I created this look and what products I used, lets begin :) :
Step 1: Moisture your clean face with Clinique Moisturizing Gel
Step2: Apply Laura Mercier Radiance Primer to your face just using your fingertips
Step 3: Take your Real Techniques Buffing brush...
Step 4. Apply Lancome Waterproof Concealer to the majority of your face , this is the most dewy natural concealer I have ever used. It is very thin so you can use it as a thin veil to make your canvas (face) all one color (It is not cakey). PS. Make sure the concealer you use is a shade lighter than your natural skin.
Step 5. Take your Makeup Forever Camouflage Concealer and conceal any blemishes or dark spots (this acts like a true concealer)
Step 6. Now you are going to take your foundation, I used Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation in Tan Honey. Make sure your foundation is 2 shades darker than you skin. You are not going to apply this foundation to your entire face, you are only going to apply it to your forehead, jaw, neck and below the cheekbones. This creates a slimming affect to the face before we contour.
Step 7. Set your foundation lightly with Nars Light Reflecting translucent powder.
Step 8: Take the YSL Touche Eclat Highlighting Stick and draw a V-shape starting from your inner eye, down the side of your nose all the way up past your cheek bone. Then fill this V shape in with the highlighter and blend it out. Then put a little highlighter on you forehead, going straight down the bridge of your nose and your chin or jawline depending on the face shape you are trying to achieve. I use the color 1.5.
Step 9: Set those highlighted areas with a light colored powder. I used the white powder from the BH Cosmetics contour kit. Be careful it is very white, it is great for photographs, but not In real life. So I would suggest setting your highlight with either a translucent powder or a slightly lighter powder.
Step 10: Now we are going to contour. Since I am pretty fair skinned, I like to use a greyish-taupe color  contour to mimic a shadow on my face. If you are warmer or darker skin-toned, you can wear a more warm brown color. I used the Kevin Aucoin Sculpting Powder In Medium. With your bronzer you are going to shade beneath your cheekbone starting from the top of your ear going to the corner of your mouth (but don't actually go to the corner of the mouth) stop beneath the center pupil of your eye. Then sweep the color on the top of your forehead, your jawline, your neck and your nose if you like.
Step 11 &12: Take your favorite highlighter and highlight the top of your cheekbones. I used Physicians formula Pearl highlighter in Light and Mac Soft and Gentle. You can also highlight the bridge of your nose, your forehead and your cupids bow above your lip if you like too :)
Step 13: This step is optional if you are not a fan of blush, I used a small sweep on each apple of my cheek. I used Physicians Formula Pearl blush.
Step 14: Now lets do the eyes :) Start by taking your favorite eye brushes. I use real techniques eye brush set.
Step 15: Sweep your entire lid with a neutral soft grey from The Revlon Colorstay Palette in Siren.
Step 16: Cover your whole lid very lightly with MAC Carbon eyehadow, then line your bottom eye with this shadow. Make sure the line is very straight and goes past your natural eye shape a little less then half an inch.
Step 18 (Sorry skipped #17 on accident): Line your bottom eye with Stila felt tip Liquid liner in Black. Then line your top eye in the shape of a wing, joining the bottom line.
Step 19: Take Inglot Gel 77 liner and go over the wing you just made previously with the liquid liner pen.
Step 20: Take Urban Decay Blackout Shadow and Darken your crease on your upper lid.
Step 21: Apply False Eyelashes, I used Katy Perry Eyelure Lashes or this look can be done with Ardell Demi Wispies.
Step 22: Apply Mascara. I used Loreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black.
Step 23: Now lets do the lips! Apply a darker lip liner than your natural shade. I used Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in 045. Draw the line a little outside of your natural lip line to make the lips look fuller.
Step 24: Apply MAC Snob lipstick to the entire lip.
Step 25: Then, apply YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Lingerie Pink to the center of the top and bottom lip :)
Step 26: Spray your entire face with a setting spray! I like to use Urban Decay All Nighter Setting spray, then once it is dry, set your face with a translucent powder lightly.

Voila! You Have Just Created Your Own Bollywood Look :)
